Shiny website

A quick welcome to the shiny new website and my first news post blog. My music has taken a little bit of a backseat since returning to Scotland 4 years ago. 'S e oifigear leasachaidh na Gàidhlig a th'annam airson gnìomhachas ealain - Which is to say, I work for an arts charity on the Isle of Skye developing community music and art and promoting Gaelic language within the arts through our work.

It's great, and I've been learning a lot plus have entered a new stage of adulting where I have a pension and pay taxes... crazy. I pretty much thought I could avoid that for at least another ten years... Here I am co-dhiù! Very blessed to have a beautifully thriving personal life with Lucie and to be much closer to my family and to be surrounded by sea, mountains and forest.

Of course, I can't not work on musical projects and this summer got a band of pals together in Tamlin, Bado and Dirk to record 8 new tracks which we will release next year! Stay tuned. Next year will also see me working on a soundtrack for my parents caravan puppet circus and I've been plotting some banjo Gaelic tunes to record next year too!
